Victoria Jessen-Pike is a Director at Publica, with over 30 years of experience in architecture and construction. Her career combines unique design expertise with critical client-side leadership, enabling her to guide complex projects from vision to delivery.

Since joining Publica in 2018, Victoria has played a pivotal role in overseeing major projects, cultivating client relationships, and driving business development. Her current work focuses on shaping placemaking, social value, and public realm strategies across London. Central to her approach is close collaboration with clients to define clear ambitions, articulate their visions, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders, including boards, planners, trustees, and donors.

Victoria has overseen numerous high-profile public realm initiatives, including Publica’s work as part of the design team transforming Oxford Street, and the resetting of Marble Arch, supporting the Mayor of London’s ambitions to achieve end-to-end regeneration along one of the capital’s most iconic streets.

She is an active contributor to industry discourse, having presented at Building on the Built and participated in the panel discussion Wild Education: Designing for Nature in the City at the Natural History Museum with the Holcim Foundation, featured on Monocle Radio’s The Urbanist. She also serves on Islington’s Design Review Panel.

Prior to Publica, Victoria spent seven years as a client-side lead for the Aga Khan Development Network, culminating in the successful completion of two major institutional buildings at King's Cross Central. Earlier in her career, she spent 13 years at David Chipperfield Architects, where she was a Design Director and worked on significant projects such as the BBC Scotland building in Glasgow.
