Claudia is a Senior Urban Designer and ARB-registered architect who joined Publica in 2019. Her work is centred around reimagining neighbourhoods, streets, and public spaces to promote inclusivity and resilience, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and deliverability.

She has contributed to a wide range of projects, including pedestrian-focused schemes such as Draycott Avenue in Chelsea and St James Passage in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Her experience also includes working closely with architects on concept landscape designs and planning proposals, as well as developing delivery strategies across central London. Claudia has also facilitated engagement processes with diverse groups including stakeholders, night workers, and young people.

Currently, she is part of the design team transforming LSE’s Bankside House into a leading student residence in London’s cultural quarter. Her role includes designing extensive planted terraces and roof gardens, alongside a pedestrian-priority public realm surrounding the building.

Claudia holds a master’s degree in Architecture from Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid and completed part of her studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Prior to joining Publica, she worked in architecture and urban design in Spain, with her independent work featured in international publications such as Bauwelt and Arquitectura Viva.

In addition to her practice, Claudia is an Associate Lecturer on the Spatial Practices Programme at Central Saint Martins.
