Anna joined Publica as an Urban Designer in 2026, with experience in urban planning and research, architectural design and community engagement. Since joining she has contributed to projects including the Marble Arch Youth Assembly, Oxford Street Women’s Safety Audit and the St Mary’s Hospital public benefits report.

Prior to this, Anna was based in Nairobi, working for UN-Habitat on public space projects across Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific. Her work centred around participatory and community-led design methods with a focus on gender equality and climate resilience. Before this, Anna worked for SLA in Copenhagen, delivering public realm design projects with nature-based solutions across Northern Europe.

Anna completed her master’s in architecture at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and was awarded a grant from the Danish Arts Foundation to continue her research on the impacts of large-scale infrastructure development in cities across East Africa.

Anna was a board member for Architects without Boarders Denmark for many years. Her passion is shaping more inclusive and sustainable urban environments.
