Jemima is a Senior Urban Designer who joined Publica in 2023, working across public realm, landscape and urban design projects. Her experience spans multiple scales, from granular technical design and material specification to broader urban research and city-wide mapping.

She is currently working on the Stage 4 public realm and landscape design for a new commercial tower on City Road. Recently, Jemima was instrumental in shaping the Wood Green Public Realm Framework and Night Time Economy Study, developing strategic design proposals to support the long-term revitalisation of public spaces in the London Borough of Haringey.

Alongside her project work, Jemima leads several outreach initiatives. Jemima has volunteered with Open City’s Young City Makers programme, delivered talks at the University of Westminster, and led participative workshops as part of the London Festival of Architecture.

Prior to Publica, Jemima completed her Part III qualification whilst working at District Architects. Jemima completed her RIBA Part II at Central St. Martins, where her thesis project Whitgift: Retail Retold proposed an incremental redevelopment strategy for Croydon’s town centre. She previously completed her RIBA Part I at the University of Nottingham.

Before joining Publica, Jemima worked at Studio ANYO on modular commercial projects, including retail and hospitality schemes. She also served as a Project Architect at District Architects, where she oversaw the realisation of many residential schemes on site.
