Publica named Public Realm and Placemaking Architect of the Year
Publica has been awarded Public Realm and Placemaking Architect of the Year at the 2026 AYA Awards, organised by Building Design.
Director Anna Mansfield accepted the award on behalf of the practice at the ceremony last night.
There aren’t usually many awards open to public realm designers, so it is incredibly meaningful for us. Thank you to AYA for this inaugural award.

The win recognises Publica’s incredible team, past and present, who have shaped our projects and built a fantastic body of work over 16 years.
Elsewhere at the awards, Alan Stanton and Paul Williams of Stanton Williams received a well-deserved Life Time Achievement award and HTA Design took home the Gold Award.
