Our team have been listening and amplifying the voices that make up our spaces, stories, and neighbourhoods with the London Festival of Architecture.

Specialist Associate, Night-time and Lighting, and member of the LFA Curation Team, Satu Streatfield, joined the panel Shaping Wood Green: Creative Voices and Lasting Impact to discuss how culture and art can drive regeneration and celebrate local creativity.

Satu shared insights alongside Paul Augarde, Kenneth Olumuyiwa Tharp, and Mary Otumahana (WondRWomN).

At Urban Learners’ panel, Young Voices Shaping Playful Spaces, Senior Urban Designer Gaia Crocella explored the power of using young people’s voices to collaborate, communicate and create with Kyle Blake-Green, Neil Pinder, Eva Rothschild, Clarisse Tavin, Binki Taylor and Venetia Wolfenden.

Urban Designer,Jemima Ashton-Harrisled a tour around Wood Green withHaringey Council, sharing how community voices are imagining the future of the neighbourhood.

At night, how do spaces in London make you feel? Senior Urban Researcher, Daniel Blyth and Senior Urban Designer, Gaia Crocella, led a participatory Body Mapping workshop in the City of London to reimagine a safer, more inclusive city with women, girls, and non-binary people.

The workshop was delivered in partnership with the London Museum and Culture Mile BID to accompany Unheard Voices of the City, a commission by POoR Collective. 

Project Directors, Astrid Bois d’Enghien and Tess McCann collaborated with The London Society to lead a walking tour through the City of London. Participants explored how its public spaces have evolved and how the City can better serve its communities.
