As part of the Hamburg Urban Development Seminar, Lucy delivered a keynote speech on Publica’s work restoring and creatively reimagining some of London’s most significant streets and civic spaces.

During the talk, which was introduced by Tobias Goevert from Hamburg’s Authority for Urban Development and Housing, Lucy presented some of Publica’s key visions and strategies, and the design and delivery mechanisms for a series of transformative public realm initiatives. She also explained the shared endeavours for transformative civic urbanism via public and private collaborations in Central London.

The Hamburg urban development seminar has existed for over 50 years. It began in 1962 with an event that presented technical lectures and building seminars, and every year offers a series of lectures on current urban planning topics.
