Ei-Lyn Chia

Urban Designer

Ei-Lyn Chia is an Urban Designer and is currently part of a team working towards a detailed public realm vision for a key West End shopping street and its surrounding areas.

Lyn trained in architecture and urban design at the University of Cambridge and the University of Strathclyde. She received the departmental prize for her dissertation on place-making and urban form. In 2014, she was a visiting researcher at the University of São Paulo where she worked on her master's thesis on affordable housing and urban inclusion. She is a finalist and invited speaker at the reducing urban poverty policy event organised by the Wilson Center, Washington, D.C.
