Publica Film Events in June

Publica is sponsoring the ‘City Stories’ strand of this year’s Open City Docs Fest taking place between the 20th and 23rd of June.

In addition to supporting the Best City Film Award, we are delighted to be co-hosting the UK premiere of Andreas M. Dalsgaard’s The Human Scale, a film that explores the approach and practice of renowned Danish urbanist Jan Gehl.

The screening will take place at the Bloomsbury Theatre at 5pm on Saturday 22nd, and will be followed by a chaired panel discussion in which Publica’s Anna Mansfield will be joined by Director Andreas M. Daslgaard, multi-award winning British architect and urbanist Richard Rogers, and head of Gehl Cities, Henriette Vamberg.

Tickets are available here.

Alongside the festival and to celebrate the London Festival of Architecture, Publica will be screening a series of short film projects through our window overlooking Clerkenwell Green. This is the second in an ongoing programme, conceived as an opportunity to activate and celebrate the public realm, and to contribute to the civic life of the city.

Film projects will be shown in a loop from sunset until 10.30pm, from number 10 Clerkenwell Green, 19th – 21st and 27th – 28th June.
