Outer London Fund Evaluation

Coordinated by Design for London, the Outer London Fund is an initiative set out by the Mayor of London to support improvements to town centres and high streets in London’s outer boroughs.

The London Borough of Enfield was successful in its bid to undertake a programme of projects and improvements for the town centres of the A1010 corridor, a primary route which runs north between Tottenham and the M25 ring road. The A1010 passes through the neighbourhoods of Angel Fore Street, Edmonton Green, Ponders End, Enfield Wash and Turkey Brook.

Publica was commissioned by Design for London and the London Borough of Enfield to carry out an evaluation of the first round of projects undertaken along the A1010. The report evaluates the success of the delivered projects set against the Outer London Fund’s objectives, as well as their impact on local Enfield communities.

Findings of the report will help to inform the delivery and implementation of the second round of Outer London Fund projects in Enfield.
