The Base Directed by Nora Jaccaud

MyStreet on the Clerkenwell Screen

The Base explores the little-known world of rickshaw riders in London. In a Victorian tunnel hidden beneath the city’s streets, an eccentric group of individuals from all over the world find themselves at a socioeconomic crossroad, a bizarre way-station at the margins of the busy city life. Composed of over five thousand individually photographed still frames all taken on the street of South London, Grosvenor Terrace reconfigures the everyday details of the suburban landscape into a hypnotic journey of pattern and colour. Watch Grosvenor Terrace on the MyStreet website

A character portrait that explores life as a young farmer. Filmed during a particularly wet week in Somerset, February 2013, Howard discusses the social, cultural and practical issues associated with a career in agriculture. Watch on the MyStreet website
