City of London Strategies Adopted

The Liverpool Street Area Enhancement Strategy commissioned from Publica by the City of London has been adopted by City members and its recommendations are to be taken forward. The strategy was developed over a two year period and includes proposals to address the impact of the new Crossrail station and enhancements to walking routes throughout the area.

High priority project areas include the Liverpool Street station area, Bishopsgate and Middlesex Street. Suggested improvements include the widening of footways, the creation of new seating opportunities and improved planting.

The strategy is available to view on the City of London’s website, here.

The Bank Area Enhancement Strategy, also commissioned from Publica, was adopted earlier in the summer.
