RP Bank Area Enhancement Strategy Adopted

Bank Area Enhancement Strategy Adopted

The Bank Area Enhancement Strategy commissioned from Publica by the City of London has been adopted by City members and its recommendations are to be taken forward.

The Strategy’s recommendations include proposals for alleviating the congestion at Bank junction and opportunities to capitalise on the area’s historic lanes and alleys, as priory pedestrian and cycling routes at peak hours and quieter rest spaces at other times.

The Strategy was developed over a 2 year period, building from user priorities identified through Publica’s initial stage consultation report (2011) and amended following our analysis of the City’s consultation on the draft Strategy, in early 2013.
