Streets – New York City
Tim Sessler, 2014, US, 5mins
Cinematographer and documentary filmmaker Tim Sessler presents a new cinematic short capturing the unique essence of New York City. Aptly titled: ‘Streets’ documents the banal, fast-paced envision of life in the city. Using a Freefly TERO and Phantom Miro high-definition RED camera however, its citizens, inhabitants and wildlife have been slowed down to manifest itself into a beautifully poignant cinematic interpretation of the city that never sleeps.

The City of Samba
Jarbas Agnelli and Keith Loutit, 2012, Brazil, 6mins
The World’s Biggest Party just got a little smaller with Jarbas Agnelli and Keith Loutit’s tilt-shift City of Samba, a view of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival in miniature. The film introduces us to the Rio cityscape and follows the carnival as it unfolds.

Walkabout*4 – the Biscuit Factory, Glasgow
Chris Leslie, UK, 2014, 4mins
Walkabout *4 explores the ruin of The Gray, Dunn & Co biscuit factory – a massive building, 6 storeys high and a few yards from the M8 motorway in Glasgow. For over 13 years it has been empty and repeatedly vandalised but with some ingenious graffiti art in its hidden corners.
